2. eKYC identity verification
Voice SIMs legally require identity verification in Japan. ID and facial images for eKYC are processed on secure, end-to-end encrypted systems and never reused.
3. Sharing with carriers and partners
To activate services, identity details are shared with carriers (DOCOMO, SOFTBANK, AU, UQ) under dealership agreements, all bound by confidentiality.
